Yamaha Warrior Keihin Power Pump (Advantage)

For Keihin FCR carbs ONLY WHAT IS IT? R&D Racing has followed up their successful Power Bowl with an all-new accelerator pump cover that features an adjustable leak jet. WHATS IT DO? Four-stroke engines bog, cough and pop.These problems are caused by everything from air leaks to mis-timed accelerator pumps to air in the pump reservoir to bad jetting to inadequate fuel flow through the leak jet. Of all the bugaboos, the leak jet is the most mysterious. It is also the most troublesome to work on.What is a leak jet? In the simplest terms, a leak jet controls the amount of fuel flowing through the accelerator pump nozzle. The accelerator pumps fuel circuit is split into two paths. The first path is the nozzle to the cylinder head and the second is the return path to the pump reservoir. The leak jet meters the return path. The larger the leak jet, the more fuel is returned to the reservoir with each squirt, which means that less fuel goes to the engine. The smaller the leak jet, the less fuel is returned to the reservoir, while more fuel goes to the engine. In essence, changing the leak jet size changes the amount of fuel that the accelerator pump squirts into the cylinder head. A bigger leak jet will make an engine lean, while a smaller leak jet will make it rich. The R&D Power Pump is an adjustable leak jet. It allows a racer to change the size of the leak jet orifice with a screwdriver (and you can do it with the engine running). WHAT STANDS OUT? (1) STOCK LEAK JET To change a stock Keihin leak jet you have to remove the float bowl from the carb and unscrew the leak jet. Leak jets typically come in sizes from 10 to 100 (a 70 leak jet has an orifice size of 0.70mm). It is a guessing game to select the correct size.This is a time-consuming process (given that most float bowls dont come off modern four-strokes without removing the carb from the bike). (2) POWER PUMP LEAK JET With the Power Pump, the leak jet size is controlled by an adjustable needle and seat. Although the float bowl has to be removed one time to install the supplied plug where the stock leak jet goes, there is never any need to remove the float bowl again. (3) TUNING We tested the Power Pump on our 2008 CRF250, which had some box stock jetting issues. We installed the Power Pump and set the adjustable leak jet at 1-1/2 turns out. We made incremental adjustments and checked them with a throttle blip test. Two turns out would be to the lean side, while one turn out would be rich. We rode the bike at 2 turns, 1-1/2 turns, 1- 1/4turns and 1-1/8th turns. (4) LEAK JET FACTS Our 2008 Honda came stock with a 70 leak jet. We felt improvement as we richened the adjustable leak jet. What does that mean? The large stock leak jet created a lean situation. Our CRF250 ran best with a smaller leak jet orifice somewhere between a 60 and 65 (about 1-1/2 turns). With the Power Pump we were able to fine-tune the setting in seconds. This is a blessing when the temperature drops. (5) PERFORMANCE. Loved it. The bogging disappeared and the power improved considerably. We went from lean to properly jetted in ten seconds. WHATS THE SQUAWK? Delta-Box aluminum frames make getting to the leak jet adjuster a juggling act. We had to use a very long screwdriver, from the right side of the bike, just in front of the shock.

Yamaha Warrior Keihin Power Bowl (Advantage)

WHAT IS IT? A complete float bowl, accelerator pump and fuel supply system for the Keihin FCR carburetor. WHATS IT DO? During the two-stroke era (1967-2004), the nagging carb problems were lean or rich mixtures. Not anymore! Now, on four-stroke engines, bogging, coughing and popping are the bugaboos.The solutions to these problems, most commonly found on the CRF250 and CRF150, range from aftermarket accelerator pump covers to radical jetting changes to accelerator pump linkage mods. R&D Racing, famous for their long association with the Suzuki amateur program, has a totally new solutionwhich doesnt address just one issue in the bogging equation, but every aspect. Its their totally innovative, R&D Power Bowl. WHAT STANDS OUT? (1) FUEL SUPPLY In jumps and whoops, the fuel in the main jet fuel chamber (a little plastic cavity designed to keep a ready supply of fuel available for the main jet) can cavitate.Why? The stock Keihins plastic chamber has excessive clearance under it. The gap allows the fuel in the main jet chamber to get mixed with air bubbles which results in a lean condition. The Power Bowl has a zero tolerance mainjet fuel chamber. It is totally sealed to keep the fuel from sloshing away from the main jet. (2) ACCELERATOR PUMP The R&D Power Bowl is designed with two separate fuel ports. The first orifice is isolated at the highest point of the accelerator pump to vent trapped air out through the leak jet. The second orifice is located low in the fuel sump to insure a supply of air-free fuel to the accelerator pump circuit. (3) LEAK JET The Power Bowl comes with an easy-to-use, externally adjustable leak jet. Additionally, the ball check valve that controls fuel flow has been repositioned to the bottom of the pump to stop it from bouncing open and closed during hard landings (and a nylon check ball is used instead of a steel one to lessen the weight against the ball check spring). (4) PERFORMANCE The MXA wrecking crew tested the R&D Power Bowl over a fourweek test cycle on a CRF150, RM-Z250 and CRF250. We were impressed. On the CRF150, which has a tendency to shoot ducks at full throttle, the popping disappeared and the power improved considerably (so much so that we went up on both the main and the pilot jets).On the RM-Z250, the transition from low-to-mid was enhanced,while the overrev was lengthened. On the CRF250, it eliminated the irritating bog, allowed us to go richer on the jetting and improved overall power. Across the board, throttle response was improved and midrange power increased.

CRJ Performances ATV wheel spacers come in two sizes. 3" ( 1 1/2" per side) 5" ( 2 1/2" per side) One set of spacers comes with 8 spacers, enough for two wheels on most quads. These wheel spacers are the toughest you will find when it comes to strength, durability, and ease of use. With our spacers you DO NOT have to remove your stock studs. The spacers female thread screws down on your origional studs and the flat bottom seats tight against the wheel hub which prevents the stock studs and spacers from being able to flex side to side. The wheel is then placed back on over the spacers studs. An extremely strong yet simple design. CRJ Performances Yamaha Banshee and Warrior rear lowering kit is built from T6 aluminum with bronze oil impregnated bushings installed. This kit is designed to be extremely versatile and easy to use. The lowering bracket has 4 adjustment settings. With practically unlimited adjustment from stock height on down you can fine tune the rear of your quad for each track. First setting is stock height. Second setting is 1 and 1/2" lower than stock. Third setting is 3" lower than stock. Fourth setting is 4 and 1/2" lower than stock. CRJ Peformances lowering kit replaces the stock link that connects to your swingarm from the shock mount yoke. To adjust the height of your atv simply take the stock bolt out and raise or lower the atv to the desired adjustment setting and replace the bolt.

They can be seen from 2-miles away - and provide a pretty good light patch on the ground at night. Wider Swingarm For high horsepower applications an extended swingarm is the only way to keep the front wheels down. At high speeds your quad will handle whoops and rough terrain much better. A longer swingarm will help you get a better holeshot and you won't have to worry about looping out your bike. Lonestar swingarms come with swingarm pivot needle bearings and a billet aluminum "Twin row" axle bearing carrier, meaning there is 4 roller bearings in the carrier. This cause less drag and better support on the axle. This carrier is shaped in a oval, like a Honda, making chain adjustments a piece of cake over the stock set-up. Lone star swingarms have skidplate mounts to guard your chain and sprockets from rocks. Swingarms are made of 4130 chromoly and are also powdercoated "Silver vein" which is a trick looking black and speckled gray. Additional Requirements: Warriors require a rear swingarm guide Extended rear brakeline is required You will also need a lengthed chain fits +4" and below. Lengths available from -4 to +15 , Chrome available for $180.00, Custom colors $50.00 Thicker "Baja style" available $80.00 Plus 2 - For the rider who needs a little more weight one the front end. but likes to wheelie. Good for motocross or trails, rider does not drag race that often. Small increase in turning radius (barely noticeable), Bikes jumps better. Rear shock re-valve recommended, mandatory if jumping big. Plus 4- Rider has high horsepower bike (wheelie machine), likes to drag race but still want's to go to the motocross track. Good for desert and wide open riding. Larger turning radius, (not too bad, really) but high speed stability and better holeshots make it well worth it. Best all around swingarm for desert. Rear shock re-valve highly recommended, mandatory if jumping big. Plus 6- High (70+) horsepower bike with drag racing in mind. Get the power to the ground, forget about motocross, this length is all about holeshots!!! Turning radius is increased quite a bit, (U-turns will be difficult but who cares your going to win!!!). Revalve not needed for drag race, highly recommended if jumping.

We now offer a brand new pickup coil for your Warrior stator. The pick-up say to the ignition coil when to send the spark Sometimes this is the only thing that fails on the Yamahas. You can do a simple test with a OHMmeter positioned at 2000 OHM your pick-up should read 500 +-50. Older models have a 200 OHM +- 50.
